Sister Diana Wow! What a great bucket list! I think you will probably add items as your journey continues. Good luck and be safe. I look forward to hearing about your adventures. Blessings!
Ann Potter By my calculations, you have to do one of these events everything other day to get them all done by the time you leave. Hurry! And, I'd recommend NOT swimming with sharks and skydiving in the same week! Great list!
Sis Looks like you will be very busy in the days ahead! Continued prayers for the journey. Peace - Sis
Elizabeth Clarke Ann! Ahhhhh I better get working on the list!! No worries I don't think I will be doing both in the same week -- but you never know!
Elizabeth Clarke Thanks Sis!!!
Eileen Cleary Stoiber Hi Elizabeth ! You are in one of my favorite countries! I like your list but would like to add one to it....Frazier Island (if you have the time it's fantastic)! Also I know you mentioned you wanted to go scuba diving -- best place on the planet to do it! Brian and I got scuba certified in Cairns and lived on a boat for a week. We sailed to different parts of the reef everyday and had at least 2 dives a day. We also did a night dive (slightly scary but "good fun" as they say there). The place we went through for the suba lessons and living the week on the boat was Down Under Dive. I'm sure there are many many companies but we had a good experience with them. I will continue to check in on your blog and add some more suggestions too. Enjoy every moment! All our best, Eileen, Joe, Brendan, Anne and the Cleary Family
Eileen Cleary Stoiber Oh... I have an idea ....you can cross camping in the outback off your list if you go to Kakadu National Park. We went on a four day guided hiking and camping trip that was so beautiful and so much fun! We went at the end of the wet and beginning of the dry season so we were driving around in a jeep that had a little snorkel for the exhaust because the water was right under our chin in the car...then we would go see all these amazing waterfalls and the guide would tell us they will be dried up in a week or two. I believe the company we went on the tour with was called Kakadu Dreams. It was so much fun. They provide all the meals and you do camp but under one huge tent. You see tons of crocodiles too. If you are short on time I would skip Uluru National Park and go to Darwin and Kakadu National Park. Just my two cents...wherever you go it will be great!
