OMG I want to be a biker chick. Seriously!
We spent 3 hours this afternoon riding around town on choppers and it was the most fun I've had so far.
I was pretty nervous beforehand having witnessed enough motorbike accidents at work and knowing I only had a helmet and a leather jacket for protection, but it was just so easy and fun. I completely understand why people love bikes now.
It's a massive cliché but I felt so free and relaxed driving around, taking in the scenery and attempting to push the bike to its grand old limit of 80kph hehe.
It's clearly a lot different driving around here, on country roads with hardly any traffic but it just made me think how fun it would be for beautiful sunny days driving round Kent. (something always pulls me back to Kent)
I'm seriously thinking about getting my licence when I get home (once I eventually have time and money again), get me some sexy leathers and a hot bike!
Oh the dream
I enjoyed it way more than surfing and I surfed for twice as long.
It's definitely going to be a new hobby of mine :o) or at least a pipe dream
I know i said this trip wasn't going to change me but I have learnt a lot about myself on this trip.
I've realised just how many OCD tendencies I have. Like the toilet roll in the bathroom annoys me because it rolls the wrong way, it goes under rather than over. What's that about?!
I hate that people aren't as nice as they should be. They're not all honest and respectful and trustworthy, nor do they pull their weight when it comes to group tasks, which upsets me greatly.
I've never liked not being completely in control of situations and the Fraser Island trip reinforced that. I've needed a lot of alone time since then, to calm down, recuperate and generally calm-a-llama-downer.
It's been nice though. Did some major tanning in the process and read Dear John, which is probably loads better than the film
I'm not entirely sure I'm actually a people person at all anymore
Hmm
