After waiting 6 hours in the bloody airport for my delayed flight and now to add insult to injury I'm stuck on a 10 hour flight with a broken tv!
I've had a silent little cry (talk about bored to tears!) partially out of sleep depravation I suspect and a little bit to do with having no control over any of this and just having to pretend it's ok that I'll have spent 16 hours bored out of my mind.

I've resorted to listening to James Blunt to calm me down and reading Karl Pilkington to cheer me up.
I don't even want to read. I've finished Jo Brand's second book along with The Book Thief and even started reading Mein Kampf before I decided that was too heavy for Fiji.
I've downloaded The Hobbit to re-read at some point too.
I've read far too much lately!

God I wish I'd put those antihistamines in my carry on luggage. They knock me right out.
It's going to be the longest day in history. We left Fiji at midnight and will arrive 10 hours before we left.
All those hours of boredom for nothing.
Anyway. Let's give Karl a go. He's got his work cut out!

It's now 4pm 2nd november (again) which is 11am 3rd November for me as my body is still on Fiji time.
I didn't really sleep on the plane. Dozed for many an hour when the turbulence was good and shook me about enough to make me sleep.
I am bloody knackered. That's 1 hour sleep in the last 26 hours.
I am going to crash and burn very soon.
I hope I get to explore LA tomorrow because I am really not up for it right now :o(

I managed to switch to a seat with a working telling in the end but it was hardly worth it. Watched Cars 2 about 3 times and Pirates of the Caribbean

11pm LA, 6pm Fiji time and I've been up what, nearly 36 hours?
I'm amazed I'm still doing ok

Met the new people. Loving Beth already. Free shirt for a shot of tequila. Ok then!
What else can we acquire on this trip?
