I'm back in Bangkok and not very happy to be! I want to be back on the islands. I had a huge journey yesterday to get back here. Had to get a boat for 2 hours then wait around in a bus station where I was stared at for 6 hours and then get a 12 hour bus to Bangkok where I was made to sit at the front so the Thai guys could stare at me some more!! I don't know why the second I'm on my own all the creepy Thais seem to find me! I got to Bangkok at 4am and was fast asleep by about 4:10am. I've just been doing some last minute shopping today and then went to post all my souvenirs home which cost a fortune!

I went for a little trip to boots aswell and ended up buying loads because I always think that I'm actually saving myself money in OZ, the women in the shop were laughing at me because it came to 600 baht which is nothing in england but most of the other customers were spending about 15baht! I have been desperately trying to find a denim skirt but the thai women are so tiny so they look stupid on me. I want all my clothes from england, I hate having to wear the same 5 outits over and over and over!

My last day in Phi Phi was amazing. We hired the boat for 5 of us (me, morgan, mexican guy and 2 guys from Norway that Morgan manged to round up) and head off to the island where the beach is filmed. As you approach it you just can;t believe that its real, the island is amazing. They dropped us on the beach for about an hour which wasn't as cool as we imagined becuase there were quite a lot of other tours there but the water was gorgeous. It looks much smalled than in the film but we had fun recreating scenes from the film. Theres loads of signs everywhere in Phi Phi about tsunami evacuation points which is pretty scray especially when we were trapped on this tiny little island.

Then our captain took us off to see a lagoon and they all went snorkelling but I just watched from the boat becuase there were millions of fish. They were really beautiful though, some of them were like rainbows. I would have gievn it a go if they swam away when you went near them but they came up to you to see if you were tasty!

Then we went to the best bit, monkey island!! There is a tiny little bay with tons of monekys who come running over when you arrive. We were giving them some bread and they were being really cute but when it was gone they kept charging us so we have tons of videos of us allscreaming our heads off as it we are being murdered! It was hilarious and definately the best way ever to spend my last proper day in Thailand.

I'm going to miss Thailand so much and know that I will definately be back again. The street food is amazing and usually much tastier and cheaper than restuarants. I ove the fact that there are millions of stray dogs who just sleep in the middle of the road and everyone moves out of the way for them. There are thai f;ags everywhere and they are absolutley obsessed with the royal family. There is a flag with the royal crest on every lampost in bangkok and anything you see a thai flag there will be a yellow one next to it. All the thai people where yellow tshirts with the vrest on it too! Even though it has annoyed me at times, I love the fact that everything is late and chilled out in Thailand. Mai Pen Lie is our favourite saying of this trip and as soon as you say it the thai people love you, it means no problem!

The prices is another amazing part of Thailand, its crazy how quickly you get sucked into it and find yourself thinking that you have been ripped off it you pay 20baht too much which is about 15p! Buckets is also another huge part of Thailand and probably what makes everyone so happy becuase after onbe bucket you are in love with everyone! The redbull that they put in it here comes in a glass medicine bottle and everyone says it is illegal compared to the redbull at home, but hey...mai pen lie!

The one bad thing about Thailand is squatting! I have now mastered the squat though and like to hand out advice when drunk on the best way to squat. Hopefully it will make Indian a tiny bit easier for me now that I have conquered it. Morgan never quite got it and always came out trying to clean her feet with wet wipes!!

All the fun drunken ones are on my other camera but its not working in this shop so I'll try again in Oz. I've also got a cd with all of Morgan's pics on it so there will be tons on here soon.
