Well today was the day that the whole group had been looking forward to! No more nights sleeping in tents....and....VEGAS BABY!!!
We got to Vegas about midday and went straight to a restaurant at the Palms hotel for a typical all you can eat lunch buffet! It was insane how mucho food there was, there was food from all over the world as well as pancakes, waffles and ice cream, I was clearly in my element!! And unlimited champagne!! After feeding ourselves silly we jumped back in the van and drove up and down the Las Vega strip! Vegas is incredible! It's like walking through a Disney musical! Everything is so over the top, so American and so Vegas!!
We got to our motel after dying of over heating (or dying from the amount of moaning we were doing! It's was almost 40 degrees!). Our motels were like 5* accomodation after our tents! Fliss and I had our own double beds!!
This evening we had a party limo to take us round Vegas! We shared it with the other group. Of course it took all the girls about 3 hours to get ready but it was so nice to get dressed up! After a glass of wine (or 2 or 3) we were all in the huma limo going around Vegas! First stop was at the Vegas sign for the obligatory photo! Then we headed to Vegas old town to watch the light show and then to the Bellagio for the fountain show which was incredible! It was as if the water was dancing!
First impressions of Vegas....amazing!!
