Today we left the Grand Canyon in the pouring rain and headed for Lake Powell!
Once we got to the Lake we went for a swim, and whilst the boys played a silly game (through the ball up and see who's head it lands on) the girls sunbathed! This evening we went to stay at a cowboy ranch with a really overpriced meal that you had to have! Saying that it was very tasty! We pitched out tents and had our meal. All the buildings were like I imagined cowboy buildings. They had horse trekking here but you were only allowed to walk....no speed, so I declined! After dinner we had a 'beach' themed party. Fliss and I wore shark rubber rings as our outfits. It was a funny party. We played jenga...every jenga piece had a dare on it, then once that was knocked over we all went outside for the crazy fools to play slip and slide...bubble bath/water and a plastic mat that people would run up and launch themselves on. After more dancing I crashed!
