Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
We were the only ones at the campground last night and about midnight we woken by some noises. It was possums getting into the bin bag. It does have a zip on it which isn't impossible to close but is hard, which meant we didn’t secure the rubbish properly. And the possums wanted it.
A short drive north we stopped at the town of Bermagui where they have the "blue pool". It is an ocean pool the town has developed since the 1930’s. It would be a nice spot for a swim but the water was a little cold for our liking.
We went to the little town of Tilba Tilba to the ABC Cheese Factory. Just a little place with viewing windows and free cheese tasting available. We bought a firecracker cheese and a creamy pepper and can't wait to get into them.
A quick stop at Narooma near the boardwalk and then onto our camp in the Eurobodalla National Park. It is on Brou Lake which is nice but it stinks. It is also right beside the beach though which is really nice however there are a lot of blue bottles to watch out for. Just about all National Park camps come at a price but although there is talk of change, currently this one is still free. There area a few other campers here tonight but still really quiet. We spent some time down on the beach this afternoon having a play around.
