Early(ish) start to see grand palace, but when we arrived found out it was for Thai Buddhists only in the morning, so wandered for an hour or two. Incredibly hot day with sun out, back in hotel for a cool down dip. Headed out for lunch and third attempt at the grand palace, tuktuk driver took us for free, but we had to visit his sponsor (a tailor - the second time we'd been to that tailor!!). Managed to get into the GP, very beautiful buildings - see the photo album. Then headed back with the plan to hit the town hard, but ended up crashing after long hot day, did book for the floating market tomorrow morning though.

Matt Johnson The grand palace is thailands crown jewel! Spend as much time as you can there! Also from my experience I would visit the nana plaza, Lovely district full of cultural distractions
