We are ready for the off!
I have had a fantastic nights sleep and I am finally up for the challenge. I can't wait to get started.
We've had a good breakfast to store a few calories ready for the day ahead and now it's just a case of assembling at the meeting point, and being led out for the start of the ride.
Will update later after we've finished the 99kms and reached the highest town in Kenya - is it me or does that suggest there will lots of uphill today?

Wayne we're now on 75%, but we have a couple of issues that I think need deleting, I was wondering if I email them over can you have a look and let me now what you think ?........only joking, not sure if your starting or finishing or still going right now, but either way hope you have/had/having a good 1st day
