The morning in Magnetic island we all met up for a nice english fry upwith a pictueresk view looking over the sea from the hostels restaurant! 4 of us then went out in some kayaks for a little paddle before i had to leave! once again i didnt like having to leave what was quite a nice close group! i knew 2 girls who would be getting on the bus again with me!

A quite lonely bus journey lay infront of me! The busses take a while before people start chatting although this seemed to take forever and even when it started the conversations were very limited! And my heart sunk as we drove into Airlie and i saw how little it had to offer, as i mentioned previously there is NOTHING to do here apart from the Whitsunday sailing trips which i am already signed up to do! The evening was pretty good though and was very much needed in order to cheer me up! everyone one the bus had a table booked in one of the hostels and most people made an appearance and conversation was flowing alot more and got on really well with everyone!

Friday morning i had a lazy slow start as i knew i had nothing to do! And whatever little things i did would all be very lonely doing them on my own! I was right, i ventured out of my room at about 1 grabed a sandwich and just strolled around the street they call 'town' just browsing around, i had no intension of going and lazing by the lagoon on my own i think i would have felt even worse! so i just looked around the shops though i was very good and wasnt tempted into buying anything even though i did see some very nice stuff! once again the evening picked up a bit as some of us agreed to meet and actually had meal at the hostel again as it was good food and fair priced before we went out to what was a very tame club! we escaped the club and just went and relaxed on the beach!

However it is very missleading! considering its called Airlie Beach, the beach is manmade! with something liek 230 tonnes of sand dumped here, it was very limited and wasnt very nice although the view out to sea with all the boats there was quite nice!

I start my whitsundays sailing today which im looking forward to then fortunately i dont have to endure more than jst one more full day back at Airlie Beach before i can move onto stuff im sure will seem amazing after this place!
