It was a very early start getting up at 5 45am to get ready to catch my bus! It wasnt until i was walking to town to the bus stop that the nerves kicked in, but they kicked so hard when they did! Everyone shylie stepped onto the bus taking seats, a few shy smiles thrown here and there! Although it wasnt long before conversations broke out which was good!
A special stop did definately help conversations flowing! A crockodile farm! the guide jumps on the bus placing a baby crock on the peoples lap in the 1st seat! what a start! we all proceeded to hold and have pictures taken with the crock before going in to see some of the biggest crocks in captivity be fed, saw some cassowary birds worlds most deadly bird a half way stage decendant of dinosauxs! which was pretty kl! and then got a chance to feed and pet kangarooes! what a way to start the travels!

When we arrived on magnetic island the hostle was amazing right on the beach! and after 15 mins for people to dump their bags 8 of us proceeded to spend about 8 hours in the bar sitting right by the beach together! which was awesome! they even talked me into entering into the lady boy comp... which i didnt win! although did a pretty gd job i was told and got some free cocktails and stf so kidna worth it! didnt help that the girl whos dress i was borrowing was significantly shorter that it was more of a tshirt to me! hehe

However today leaving once again i didnt like! 2 of the 8 were coming on the same bus and the others were staying longer although have worked out our paths will all cross again which is kl! but Airlie Beach has NOTHING in it! such a let down! and im stuck here for 2 days before i start my whitsundays sailing! then stuck here for 2 days after again! :(
