Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delay in updating you all, I just have not got round to it!!!, We have been back in melbourne now for over 2 weeks, it is good to be back and nice to be settled for a bit and not be living out of a bag!!.

The weather had taken a bit of cold turn last week was really quite cold 8degress not good but has started to warm up now today is 19 degrees and sunny so flip flops back out!! , jack has been in rest bite for the fast 2 weeks and we pick him up friday and bring him home, it has taken a while for him so settle but he has now deceided that he will move in to the car home for good on 1st June, as it is only going to be time before he will need the extra help, this is sad but it is the right deceision.

We have been staying at jack's while he has been in rest bite and visting him every day most of the time in the evening once we have come back from our days out.

I can not remember what days we did what so :

We have been to melbourne Zoo this is just in the North of the city we drove there only took 40 mintues we had a great day it really is a very nice place the enclosures are really big so lots of room for them to move about, there are still doing alot of work there to extend it which should be finish at the end of the year ( another visit) They have a great monkey and ape area they are so funny , the has an elephant area which has been bulit like a Thai village really cool and we saw the lion's feeding they are massive, we also saw a beautiful tiger only young but stunning.

Jon and nathan played tennis agian at the Rod laver area on Friday but once again Jon forgot to take the camera!!! never mind he still beet Nathan !! I took that time to go out for a run as not been running much ( hardly at all) so I ran around the local area ok but a bit harder than before!! never mind Im on holiday !!!

Saturday we went to nathan ans Minmet's and caught the tram into the city and went to watch a big local derby at the MCG our first AFL game and it was great, we met up with a couple and there son who have just moved out here from Eynsham ( small world) a great game really close but Hawthorn bet Carlton 112 to 108 this was really sad for carlton as they wanted to win as the owner had passed away two days before, the game is very different not at all what I though but good to watch and easy to pick up the rules can not beleive the coaches just run on the pitch anytime to tell a player what to do??? and the water boys and girls also run on at anytime (weird) at one point i counted11 people ran on at once?? they also have so many officals 4 ion the main pitch and loads more at the goals, great day then we went back to nathan's and went out for a japanese dinner was great the sushi was amazing.

Spent the day in melbourne seeing some of the sights we have not already walked around the Crown Casino it was amazing they decor was out of this world and so big and very gold!!! this was my first time in a casino so I push the boat out and put $3.00 in the pokies ( equ one pound fifty in the fruit machine) but won $5.00 walked around and watched so many people lose so much money one lady lost $700.00 in one go on the roulette and did not every blink an Eye lid. walked around south bank and into the victoria acrade and many other shops, melbourne is great so many little side street;s full of little shops and cafe;s you could sppend days just exploring them, we then walked up to the docklands this was very quite but it was a bit cold they have rebuilt the docks and have added lots of nice aprtments and cafes also a factory outlet viaalge called harbour town Jon brought some new jean i got some fake Ugg's and some T shirts then caught the tram back and went past the other big stadium the Ethiad stadium ( was the Telstar) where they have lots of events on.
