Hi

Had a late start last Sunday as you can imagine after a day and night od boozing left Nathan's and drove back to Jack's where we caught up with him for a short time and then pottered around Watirna for the rest of the day .

Monday we went to the Yarra Valley the wine reigon we headded up to Warberton first which is a small town at the top of the Yarrer valley and walked along the river with the old bridges, and worked our way back usally a very beautiful landscape but unfortuatly some of this area has been affected by the bush fires, which was sad to see, We had a tour of a vine yard which was great I can not remember the name !!!! but it was connect ed with Meot, we were showed all the areas including a small cellar which housed 75,000 bottles this was just one of many cellars they had, on the way out we looked into the shop in which I missed stepped and Jon caught me other wise I would have landed in the display of expensive wine!!! on that note we left and followed the hills back to Watirna.via Lilydale lakes where is was a nice day so we walked around brough ans ice cream and chilled out.

Tuesday we headed off to Ramsey street (where it is filmed just a 10 mintue drive from Jacks and had a look about just to say we have been, for some reason Jon was not intrested in having his picture taken??? but this is our 5 year here and he had to give in !!!

Wednesday we went into Melbourne for the day drove to Nathan's and then jumped onto the tram it only takes 15 mintues into the center, walked down the Yarra riverside, went to the old Goal where Ned kelly had been was rally interesting showd his anmour and we could walk in and out of the cells and the exercise yard ( only my batteries went half way round on my camera), then went to the Victoria Market and a mooch around and then headed to the Aquarium where there is a new penguin area which was cool,took the touist bus around the city then headed home.

Thursday the weather was 35 degrees so we went to Cardina park and had a picnic and did some sun bathing a nice chill out day, then went out with Jack Bob and Bev for dinner, ( bob and bev help look after Jack they are really nice couple.) I drove to and from the pub that night so getting used to all the lanes .

Friday was washing day!!! then we went to Frankston about 1 hour away it is a seaside town with beautiful beaches had lunch and a walk around paddle in the sea and then came home and sun bathed a bit more at Jacks as it was 36 degrees and then cooked dinner.

Today up early as we needed to pack as our 10 night are up at the Cabin, checked out then poped into Jacks to to dump some clothes and have breakfast then drove to Jen and Mike"s which is in Bairnsdale about 3 hours from Melbourne in Gippsland, it was Jen's birthday last Monday so we have brought a cake for her return as they have been away for a week.
