Our boat left Lembongan on time and when it arrived at Sanur, Helen was concerned about the waves and moaning about possibly getting soaked while getting off the boat. A woman on the boat threw a comment saying it will be fine. Helen managed to get off the boat dry, but the very same woman who said it would be fine fell straight into the ocean soaking her bag that had her laptop, SLR camera, digital camera and 3 mobile phones..... Karma or what? On the minibus ...

Our next destination is Lembongan, a little island off Nusa Perida which is east of Bali. Our sole purpose for visiting Lembongan was to dive with Manta Rays, so after departing Gili Trawangan two and half hours later we arrived at Lembongan. Immediately upon arriving, both of us were disoriented as we stepped onto a van and we have not been on a moving vehicle (other than a boat) for 2 months and we saw loads of dogs which again we have not seen for 2 months. ...

We kickstarted week Seven by making a video for Project Aware, raising awareness for sharks!! Now for our second last week on Gili Trawangan. This marks week six on the island, how time flies! Sunday saw Nick having a day off, his first time in 3 weeks. We went out for a meal to celebrate a friends birthday and once that was over the rest of the evening was spent skyping with family! Yet another entry from Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. Week five consisted of both of us assisting on the Bio-Rocker's Rescue Course. The Bio-Rocker's are a group of people who have paid to do some conservation work around the Gili Islands. Their package includes training up to DM level and conservation work.... the rescue course was brilliant fun especially on their 'L' dive where we had the opportunity to act as if we were narced and doing stupid things underwater...
