April 28th (Tuesday) - Day 58 - Margaret River to Perth
We woke up and cleaned the camper inside and packed our bags for the first time in over a week. It had been so nice having the camper and not having to pack every day. We drove back to Perth and stopped in a shopping centre on the way back. I always wanted to buy a notebook (a mini laptop) before I left but didn't think I would need it. The fact is that we could have got a lot of use out of it and saved a lot of money in internet cafes. So I bit the bullet and brought one. The guy said it did not come with a case and conned me into buying one. (Later I found out it did come with a case so I am sure you will hear about me returning it before long). Once back in Perth we had to refill the gas cylinder, which was still full despite using it like 5/6 times and then wash the van. We returned the van and I found out my 750 quid deposit will be held for 30 days. (So any money contributions will be accepted gladly at this stage!). We caught the bus into what we thought was the central bus station and got off the bus to find it was a different bus station. It was then a 45 minute walk from there to our hostel. After almost dying from carrying 3 bags and the heat we checked in. The place was really nice but seemed to be another really clicky place. We rang Qantas to change our flights so we could do a 3 day tour of Uluru later to find the tour was not running that day. That night I got no sleep as one of the girls had a fog horn for a snore and the others phone did not stop going off all night.
