April 16th (Thursday) - Day 46 - Singapore to Perth
Had a really early start to ensure we got to the airport on time. 4 tubes later we arrived on time but the flight was delayed due to a late connecting flight. Once in Perth we waited an hour for our airport connection to fill up. As back packers we were one of the last people to be dropped off. Our hostel was sooo nice. It was fairly new and had a really clean feel about it. It was already 5pm so had a quick wander around and went for dinner. We then got chatting to the other hostels members in the garden before getting an early night.

April 17th (Friday) - Day 47 - Perth
After a bit of a lay in we did some washing and went to the shop to get some supplies. Nothing had a price on it and I worked out that this was because it was so expensive you would have put it back if you'd known the price. After waiting forever for our washing we went for a good look around Perth. We walked to the river front and took in some sights and then walked to Kings park. It is one of the worlds largest parks. It took us almost an hour to reach it as it is on top of a massive hill. Once there we walked for a good few hours taking in the 360 degree sights of Perth. We sat by a duck pond for a while before heading back. We had paid to join in our hostels BBQ so met our room mate and his mad brother in law in the garden. An hour later we found out the BBQ was not for another 2 hours. So instead headed out with our new friends. We came back for the BBQ to find out it was just chicken out the oven. Everyone had said how they wanted a massive night but once the BBQ was over but people drifted off and no one was left. So Sarah and I headed out alone and found a hostel bar with a Wii so had to of course partake. Sarah really badly hurt her fingures on an over aggressive bowl (it went really black that night). Also that night many many people got a prank call...
