Well we are now on the next island and are both the most chilled that we have been yet on our journey. We have our own private beach at Booms Cafe Bungalows and have decided to stay here now until Monday. Its beautiful and Nok (the owner) speaks perfect English and German and is like the Thai family we never knew we had-which is what our Lonely Planet told us!! . On Wednesday we arrived by boat and got a taxi to the bungalows. Its about half an hour walk to the main 'tourist' strip and this is where we are now preparing for the Full Moon Party. On wednesday evening we decided to take the walk (and we it was quite an adventure climbing over the rocks as the tide was coming in) we had dinner in a small restaurant and then chilled in the Outback bar, with all music Neil enjoyed. At about 10pm we thought it would be a good idea to head to the beach and see the preperations for the Full Moon Party. 6 JD's later, I didnt want to leave...fire twirlers, fire skipping, photos with lizards, buckets....you get the idea. It was like a circus on the beach....and i loved it!! ( neil got into the swing of it drinking malibu and coke too..ha ha) we got a motorbkie taxi home (my 1st time on a motorbike EVER) and it was amazing, i thought i was flying and the man driving thought i was a total weirdo!!!! Yesterday we didnt leave our little haven and chilled totally, reading and soaking up the sea and sun. Today we did much the same, until walking here at 4pm for dinner. Just chilling now, wasting time ready for our whole evening of fun to begin! And dont worry we have made a pact, 1 bucket each, and not drinking til 11pm. Very sensible! We shall see in the next blog, hey?? Ha ha!
