Here we are in Bangkok. OH god what a culture shock Very different from Hong Kong. Our hotel is ok, all we need really but maybe not as good as our last one!! We arrived at the airport and i was adamant not to get ripped off so of course the stress head started but we eventually got to the taxi rank that you only pay by the meter. The journey to the hotel took about an hour as the traffic was awful. The driver dropped us at the end of The Khoa San Rd with one slight prob-our hotel was right at the other end!! Back packs on we walked throught the mass of people to the other end and sweating like pigs got there!! Decided to brave going out- good choice as many, many Jacks later i was in the full swing of the Bangkok party ha ha!! Neil was very sensible- good job really!! Lots of water for his dicky tummy! The amount of people who ask do you want to buy a suit- or a new lighter- or to have a massage-or have a ride in a tuk tuk is funny- we are constantly saying 'no thankyou'. We are only going to stay here tonight and hope to head to North Thailand (Chaing Mai) tomorrow. OOO the food is great- so great that after i had tasted it before Jack cam out to play i then decided two more portions were required!! at 50p a portion who can moan??
