Why isn't tallness a recognised disability?
Christchurch was something of a non-event. There was only one full day to really do anything so I went to the Aquariam which was ok, fishes don't really do it for me but there were some impressive little sharks and wotnot and then mostly hung out drinking tea and hot chocolate.
I found parts of the city a little seedy which is in stark contrast to the rest of NZ, its clear that NZ's charm is not found in its cities. I'm itching to buy a guitar in OZ, this is the longest ive ever gone without playing since I started 10 years ago and im starting to forget how to play.
Im also looking forward to weening myself off the Hot Chocolates in OZ where hopefully it will a bit warmer. I may start off slowly and just say "no" to the whipped cream.
My plane to Melbourne has been delayed by 4 hours due to a fault with the plane. This obviously fills me with confidence, especially after watching an episode of 'Lost' yesterday.
I finished my book and had to leave it at the hostel, what with it being a bulky beast. There is apparently a special OZ edition so I will probably buy it again before I come home and I also read there are going to be a prequel and a sequel to the series, so naturally im overjoyed. In the meantime im charging through a biog of John Lennon written by his first wife, its interesting stuff.
So 1 month in NZ ends with fond memories and everylittle pointless conversation and occurence recorded for my own posterity. OZ has alot to live upto and it starts tomorrow @11 when im meeting Nicola, I wonder how I can mess up our meeting this time.
JellyBelly here I come.
