Magnetic Island has to be one of the most picture perfect places that i have seen so far. The ferry ride over to the island gives you the best view of the island and looking back at Townsville with Castle Hill in the middle. The sea is calm and lovely blue and turquoise colours, and if you are lucky like we were, you can see wild dolphins swimming there! The island itself is lovely, and i can see why people love it so much. There are many beaches to go to, but it is suprisingly free from lots of tourists. Considering we went on a bank holiday Monday, its should have been full of people, but there wasnt one place that had too many people there. We went on a tour around the island in the big car with my Aunty Linda and Annette, my cousin Sam and her husband, and of course, Nikki! We went to lots of the beaches and even got to go swimming in the sea. The only thing Nik and i didnt like was that we didnt have enough time there, but luckily, our friend Tina from the tour group is there for a few days so tomorrow, we head back there until Sunday. So the next few days will be relaxing on the beach, swimming in the sea, and chilling out. (hopefully we will also find a wild Koala!!) Its a tough life for us at the moment!! xx
