Hi from Maggie Island! We decided to return to the island to spend a few days relaxing before job hunting. We got the ferry over on thursday and met up with Tina from the tour at Base backpackers hostle. We spent the day with her catching up and laughing about our time with the group, and ended up having a fun night of cocktails! We managed to get in her dorm room which we shared with 5 other guys. In the morning, we said our goodbyes to Tina, and we moved to Maggies Beach House on Horseshoe Bay. We spent the next few days sunbathing, swimming in the sea, reading by the pool, and drinking cocktails in the bar. On Saturday morning we decided to go horse riding. We found a trek that was for two and a half hours and went through the bush and the beach. We even got up to cantering which i have never done before!! So scary! After cantering along the beach, we stopped and got into our bikinis and rode the horses bare back into the sea for a swim. It was incredible and something i will never forget!! xx
