Nat Well, writing to you all today from my own computer, in my own living room! We arrived home yesterday at about 4pm. It was a lovely welcome home with my mum, sis and her boyfriend being at the airport as a suprise as well as my dad! It feels really strange at the moment, like Im not really here! It is so nice to see everyone though! I have put my Fiji photos on here for you all to see, and they will be the last now!! Thanks to you all for keeping in touch throughout my trip. Nat Hi everyone!! Well, I did end up meeting Nikki in the Nadi airport which was good, so we had a good catch up and got seats together. The fight was good, but a little bumpy! It was really empty so we had a spare seat between us to spread out and get comfortable. We watched lots of movies including Madagascar (again) The Interpreter and The Longest Yard. The last two were not that good so Im hoping we have better ones on our last flight! Well, as you should have guessed, we are in LA!!! YIPEE!! We got through all of the security ok, even when we were fingerprinted and had our photo taken!! We are now sitting at the gate looking at our British Airways plane getting ready to fly us home. Its 3:40pm now and we leave at 5:50 so not long!!!! I have no idea what time it is for you all as we have gone back in time, but just to let you know that we are fine and so excited!!!! I am keeping an eye on the internet for flight details/arrivals to check if your flight is on time etc, so don't worry if there is any delay. Nat Hello everyone! Well, Im flying to LA tonight then onto London!! YIPEE!!! I will miss travelling, but Im so excited to see all of my wonderful friends, family, cats and fish!!!! Thanks for all of the emails and messages! Fiji has been amazing. Yesterday I went on a day cruise to Mana Island which is possibly the most perfect island I have ever seen!!! I spent the day in the glorious sunshine on a perfect beach, and snorkelling on the reef which was beautiful. Sorry to say it, but I saw lots more fishies than on the Barrier Reef! Also went on a semi-sub to see the fish a bit deeper which was great. The people here are so friendly! Well, I have checked out of my room and I will spend the next few hours by the pool until Nikki's flight get in. If you are reading this Nik, I doubt you will be able to come out of the airport if you have already checked in for the other flights and we probably wont be able to get seats together. Thats a shame, I wanted to hear about The Bay of Islands, but never mind, we have the time in LA for that, and I expect we will be sleeping through the flight anyway!!! I will come to the airport to meet your flight, and try to find you, but if not I will meet you at check in or at the gate. xxxxx Well, Id better go and have my last few hours in the sunshine before Its back to (hopefully) sunny Spetisbury. Nikki Hey Babe, just sent you an email to explain that I may not be able to met you at arrives, because I may have to go through as a transit passenger, its abit of a grey area and unfortunatey cant find out until i am there. Up to you if you still want to come to the airport i will try my best my catching up staff to let me know but no promises. If it all goes wrong i will find your seat on the plane after take-off, have a word with the staff when you get there they mite be able to do something. Love you Nikki

Debs and family Hiya, Just thought I would drop you a message to say that we are all thinking of you, and as I said to Nix we have your flight numbers and times so that we can keep a check on your progress on the internet. Glad to hear you are having a fantastic time in Fiji, I'm soooooo jealous. I'm really looking forward you catching up with you two girls when you come back, but I know it will all be a bit hectic, exciting, overwhelming and tiring when you get back, so just take it all in your own time, and remember you have to do what YOU want to do, not what everyone else wants. Over the next few weeks when have got settled in, perhaps you would like to come over and see us, and perhaps we could go up the local pub all together and have a bit of a chin wag of your adventures. Thank you for looking after Nix, you have both proved how sensible and reliable you are with your experience, but then again I wasn't really that worried, because I knew you would be, and I hope that your memories and the experiences that you have both shared together will be there for the rest of your lives. Nikki Hey Natsi-Noo, Thanks for the message hun, glad you have now arrived at the hotel, you lucky devil-must be great!! Anyhow I am all packed now and I am sure Russell is way over the luggage allowance limit again, naughty boy. Just read my last message to you back, how bad was my grammer, spelling etc? I guess I must have been rushing it. You don't have to met me sweet, its a very nice idea but you could be spending that time having a lovely long soak in the bath. Can't wait for a hot bath-yeah. The man at reception here at Base was rubbish, but good forme he didn't charge me for upgrade to The Sanctuary, which is good because I only just about have enough cash for departure tax and shuttle tomorrow. Talk about cutting it fine. Ian is here at Base but haven't really had time to catch up, besides his family fly in today. Also found Krystal, Craig and Ross at ACB backpackers so spent a coupke of hours with them yesterday. They are all so lovely. Still haven't found out time of departure but I guess if your hotel is olny 10 mis away, we can wait and find out tomorrow, either 10.00pm or 11.00pm. Wonder what films we will get, I think I will get the same as you to Nadi, as it is the same flight. Enjoy your last night, we had lovely comfortable plane seats to look forward too for our next nights sleep. Miss Ya Heaps - The Billabong Sanctuary called, Wilamena misses you dreadfully and those Koala's keep coming over asking where you are and when you'll be back! It is very hot here now - we are progressing to our summer, 30-35degrees C here during the day. Nice time to sunbake I guess. I tried but I couldnt get through to the hostel and didnt want to call your mobile. hope you are well and the rock was good fun. Cant wait to hear all about it! Fiji is hot hot hot and really good. Im in Tanoa Int. Hotel now, and it is 5 mins from the airport. You will be through within about 10mins of landing and I have checked here and I will come and get you, bring you back here and we can sit in the restaurant/bar/by the pool for a while then they will take us to get the flight. Nat Bula everyone! (Hello in Fijian!) Hope you are all well. Well, as you have guessed, Im now in Fiji. Sorry, particularly to Nikki as i couldnt get through to your hostel on the phone and there was no internet available in my last hostel, but I arrived safe and sound. The flight was good, I watched Madagascar which was very funny, then in 3 hours, I was in hot and sunny Fiji. I landed at 4pm and the temp was 29C so you can imagine how hot it is during the day! I got to the Coral Coast and to my accommodation. I was staying in a bungalow that I shared with an English guy called Mike who was nice but could talk for England! I had a lovely day of lying on the beach or by the pool. It looked just like the beach from the film Castaway! Today I got my shuttle bus up to Nadi, the main town, where I am staying at Tanoa International Hotel. It is cheap but so posh! I made friends with the nice man who carried my luggage to my room and he helped me get into town to do some sightseeing and, of course, shopping!! I have a very nice room with a big bed, sofa, etc and even a hairdryer!!! Im living in luxury! Tomorrow I plan to do a boat cruise of the islands and stop at one to do some snorkelling and things which should be good then the next day pick up Nik from the airport and prepare for the long flight home!! Anyway, gotta go, but cant wait to see you all! Love Nat xxxxxxxxx

Nikki Hey Nats I am sure you are fine, but bit suprised I haven't heard from you. The Rock trip was amazing, but I will bore you with the details on the flight home, as we will plently of time then. Mind you I say I haven't heard from you, I haven't checked my own website yet so maybe there is a message there. If I haven't heard from you but tomorrow I will attempt to phone your accomendation in Fiji. Hope your having a wonderful time and the weather is good for you. I managed to improve my tan slightly yesterday, however I m sure it would have faded by the time I see you again. Slightly considered as my flight leaving from Fiji, definatley says 22.00, not just before 11pm as you seem to think, so unsure if I am going to get more than 2 hours out of the airport on Sunday, but we will see. Nat Hey everyone! Well, since Kaikora, we have been on the ferry across to Wellington, which was just a city really so we didnt spend much time there. Then it was off to Rotorua, where we went to the Polynesian Spa and spent a few hours soaking in the 42C hot pools overlooking Lake Rotorua which was lovely. Anna, a nice girl we made friends with, and I decided to try zorbing! It is so much fun! They basically put you inside a big plastic ball, put loads of water in, and push you down a hill! Its like a huge water slide insde a ball! I imagine it's what my hamster Chubby use to feel like when he was put in his plastic ball and ran around the house, only without the water! Anyway, we also went out to Waitomo and did some cave tours. One was a limstone cave which was very impressive, and the other was a glow worm cave. There were thousands, and they looked like stars! It was lovely. We also did a walk between the two caves for a few hours which was good, but very muddy! Then we went off to Auckland and the Bay of Islands which is where I left Nikki as I fly to Fiji tomorrow! Im so excited! It should be good fun! And its now less than a week till I come home!!!!!
