Hello there from rainy Cairnes!! Its our second day here and im sorry to say that we havent done much yet!!! We arrived at 6am and just crashed out. We went into town that afternoon and had a look around. It seems nice but i agree that it is very touristy. The hostle we are staying in is really nice. Its called the Calypso Inn Backpackers hostel and its very modern and funky. There is a big pool and a huge bar/restaurant. Yesterday they were showing Finding Nemo on a big screen!!!! We are going into town today to do the boring stuff like sort our visas and do travellers cheques etc but we will have a litlle look around too. We will be here until Wednesday when we are planning to go to Cape Tribulation for a few days. Cant believe its raining!! But its nice to have a change from the heat in Malaysia!
