well. it's starting to hit me that it is all coming to an end. I took the train out last night from Nairobi and am now back in Mombasa in some warm weather. Its weird being back here after growing so used to nairobi again. It has been great to be home with my mom in nairobi and am so thankful at how wonderful she has been while i ahve been under the weather. yesterday she came home from work early to cook me a send off dinner and take me to the railway station with david. i cried when the train left. i miss them already and it hasn't even been a day. The train itself was a nice change of pace from the matatus and buses I have been taking thus far in the past few months. I ended up with my own compartment which was great. The car I was in was filled with college missionaries who had just gotten here a couple of days ago, which was interesting. a few of them tried to bring me to jesus. it didn't work. but hey. I guess they had to give it a shot. I would give them an A for effort.

i'm starting to feel a little bit better which is good. I'm taking it easy today and heading off to each internship for the next two days to say goodbyes. friday i will be back in nairobi and eagerly awaiting the arrival of the parentals on monday night. wowowowow where did the time go???

ok. time to do some shopping :)
