So here I am at the snow. I arrived here Friday afternoon after a very long bus journey from Melbourne. We changed at Mansfield which is about an hour away and it is the closest 'major' town to us. We then got the 'snow' bus up the mountain itself and then once at the village we got another snow taxi to take me to the hotel.

I am sharing my room with Amy from Melbourne who also works on the bar with me. We will probably get another room mate but I don't think that they will put a fourth person in. The room is pretty usual but the main advantage is the bath! It is not full size so my feet stick out over the end but hey I have a bath...not had a bath for months-maybe that what the smell is! Ha-ha

There is about 30 staff at the minute which will expand to 50 by the end of the moth which is the peak season as kids are off school....

I am breakfast supervisor at the minute as the other guy dropped out. This means I have to bright, cheerful, happy and not hung over by 7.30am!! Which so far, has been ok but not sure for how much longer!!

Friday is a big day for me....it's my first time on my snow board. I have got my own board sorted with boots and I have been to buy some snow gear....pants and a jacket....which are snugly warm.

All is good here. Having a great time and the crew are great guys....it's going to be a wicked winter!!!
