Not much happening over here in the snow, the good news is that i have had my date to leave-5th October. I get to stay until they close the hotel because I am a supervisor!!

The new job is going well. I am doing a good job; the restaurant is running a lot more smoothly with much better service so that is good. They just tell me that they wish they had put in charge at the beginning. The restaurant is only open for another week or so and then evening dining gets moved upstairs back into the bistro part of the hotel. The atmosphere will not be so nice but the food will be the same. They close it so early as the season is coming to an end and the in-house numbers are low so it doesn't warrant keeping it open as it means keeping staff etc down there. I will still be supervising the evening dining upstairs with full wait staff so I will still be busy trying to control the staff!!

Heineken hosted a party at one of the local pubs on Saturday night and since I am now senior mountain staff I got VIP pass, which meant free drink all night!!! Do I need to say any more??Ha-ha had a good night but I tell you yesterday was very hard and I didn't even start work until 3.30pm. I went out boarding before work for a few hours. I tell you what; it is definitely the best hangover cure!! Not to start with though when the chair lift is swaying but after a few good run it's all good.

There are some tree lined runs which I have started to explore. It so much fun having to weave in and out of the trees. Making your own fresh tracks where no one has been yet. It's so beautiful when the trees are covered in snow and it's peaceful. Oh, I just love it. I get such a rush from it. Love it, love it, and love it,

I went out riding with dale this morning and he let me ride his $1000 board. It was unreal. It was so much easier to ride. Easier to turn, faster. Just amazing. Dale was eating my dust all the way down!!he he. so now all I want to do is get a new board and bindings, I wonder what Santa will bring!!

So once the season is finished, I am going to live with dale for a couple of weeks before we head up to the gold coast for a friend's wedding. We are going to hire a car for a few days and have a holiday in the sunshine after 4 months in the snow. We will probably head to Byron bay, Noosa and explore the hinterlands. Can't wait for the sunshine, sea and surf. I want to have my golden tan back!! Then, the plan is to fly to Darwin and meet up with some friends to travel the west coast before I fly home in November.

Thats all the news for now, hope you are all well. I am still having the best time ever. I cant believe that in a little over 2 months I will be home. I don't know where the time has gone.
