It's been so long since I wrote a blog but I have to say that it's because all I am still doing is work work work and play play drink!!

On the news front I have had a promotion to restaurant supervisor/maître as the previous girl left for another job in Perth but I don't know how much of that is true. From day one, she didn't really fit in to the shared accommodation and the lifestyle we lead. So as of today I am now a supervisor with a pay rise!!Yippee. I supervise a 75 seater restaurant with around 8 bar and wait staff which I am nervous about doing but yet it's easy too. I have never told anyone what to do before....well I have never been paid to tell anyone what to do!!Ha-ha I am going to make some changes to make the service more up to my standard and more consistency with it too. I am looking forward to implementing my changes, make it my restaurant.

Gavin, an English guy who I got on with like a blazing inferno left to go home today as his mum is sick so it was a sad day after a massive night out on the mountain. It will be so sad to see him go. He used to have me in stitches when I was at work, usually accompanied by tearing rolling down my face and stomach ache from laughing so hard!!! He will be missed by us all here. He was such a big personality with a heart of gold. There are a few of us from here that will be in the UK over the same time so we are all going to definitelycatch up for a night out somewhere.

My boarding is coming on so good now. I have managed to take film clip of me boarding so I will see if I can put it on here so you can see my 'rad' skills man!!!!The boarding maybe coming along but I am still injuring myself. I was going down grimace slide which is a black run on Wednesday and went over a mogul. I go so much air and then as I landed, the front of board dipped into the snow and then I fell straight on my knee. I knew straight away I had damaged it but I kept on riding. I was having such a good day I didn't want to stop. Couple that with dancing for 3 hours last night whilst drunk, walking home in the snow has meant that I have struggled to walk today!

Off to Melbourne on Tuesday with Dale. It will be so good to get off the mountain for a couple of nights. We will leave Tuesday after I finish work at 8.30pm drive to Melbourne which should take about 3 hours and then I won't need to head back to work until Thursday afternoon. I can't wait to eat want I want, when I want and not be in the hotel.
