After a damp few days in Brisbane we finally dried out and set out on our journey up the East Coast to Hervey Bay which was the pick up for our trip to Fraser Island. We were really looking forward to some warmer weather on arrival in Brisbane, but no!! Actually it was warmer but is was also raining - it was like being in a shower! We caught the shuttle from the airport to our hostel and checked in. Despite the rain we went for a wander around the city and ended up doing a bit of shopping (new jeans for Mark!) and got some food.
