We seem to have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous - one minute going to bed in jumpers and beanies and the next lying on top of the sheets with all the windows open! I woke up around 6am as there seemed to be a fair bit of activity going on outside with lots of vans packing up and moving on - quite different to free camping all on your own! I couldn't get back to sleep so began the clothes washing. By the time Nick woke up two loads were hanging on the line. We had a big breakfast and a chat to some fellow West Australians then Nick took Matty shopping while I started education with the other three. For the last few months Matty has had boundless energy and just needs to run and jump it out. While we had coffee this morning he ran laps around our chairs!! School was a struggle, especially as I was distracted with laundry and cooking, but we eventually got it finished around 1pm. We had lunch and then spent the afternoon at the pool. The caravan park is near an RAAF base and the fighter jets fly over at regular intervals. Although its noisy they're quite good fun to watch and the kids slept through the 830pm fly over! We sat outside in the cool for as long as possible but once it got dark the mossies came out and I was chased inside to the aircon. It took me the entire evening to catch up with this blog, then it was a cold shower and bed on top of the covers again - I never thought I'd say it but I've missed the heat!!
