One afternpon, I took the boys and Hunter on a great ferry ride, through Las Isletas. There are about 360 small islands in Lake Nicaragua, just outside of Granada city center. It is believed these Isletas were formed via the last eruption of Mombacho Volcano.
It was a beautiful afternoon. And, it was a locals activity. Most tourists take smaller boats, with personal guides. We opted to view Las Isletas the local way...
Why no pictures? Especially after I took more than 100? Well, when we got out of the taxi at our house, I walked about 100 yards, and realized I no longer had my camera. Not sure whether I got pick pocketed, or if it simply fell out of my pocket. But regardless, no photos of the ride through Las Isletas
Fortunately, we have a few cameras with us. So plenty more photos to come!
(Looks like this blog site requires a photo for every posting; so here's another shot of our vacation)
