On to Costa Rica! One of the things I've been looking most forward to is the physical border crossing between Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It feels like the wild west. So Michael and I returned to the rest of our family and friends to learn that while we were gone they bumped into Jeff on the beach. Colin had explained to him that we were traveling through Central America because of Michael's mid-life crisis and Jeff was enjoying a break from work. Look's like Survivor found them.

We found the Survivor Camp, but we also ran into a giant gate guarded by two Nicaraguan Guards. We weren't going to get past the guards to meet Jeff, so we moved on to a beautiful surfing beach that Michael took the boys several times to surf. There we met up with Sumi and Brianna, whom we met at the beginning of our stay. Michael and I decided to spend some time on our own, so we rented some motor bikes and set off to explore for part of the day. Survivor is filming for their next season in Playa Hermosa which is a couple miles from where we are staying. We decided to go find them, I'm not a fan of the show but I think Jeff's a cool guy and wouldn't mind meeting him. We are now 10 days into this epic adventure. We've seen so many amazing sights, and done some many amazing adventures. But the best summation of the last 10 days is the fact that the Keenan clan is still smiling!
