One of the best parts of travelling is the ability to meet all sorts of unique and interesting people. Here, the kids are posing with John Oliver. John Oliver comes from the Caribbean side of Nicaragua. He last most of one leg due to an infection from a gun wound. He is homeless, and uses crutches to get around Granada. The first time we met him, he recited some beautiful poetry to us. The second time, he painted a picture that he hoped we would like. Patrick purchased the picture, and looks forward to hanging it in his room.

So we will have two rememberances of John Oliver - the picture he painted, and this phots with the kids!
