Another awesome day of sport! We were at the badminton in the morning, then Bek headed to watch some more gymnastics with Naeem. Australia were so close to winning a medal! Bek then got in an hour of wrestling which was pretty interesting. To end the night, we watched another session of athletics. Amazing! Seeing Australia win gold and bronze for female javelin made us proud to be Aussie, such an awesome way to finish the games experience. Loved hearing our national anthem and seeing those girls on the podium. Other events included 3000m female steeple chase, men's long jump and high jump final, female shot put where New Zealand took gold and men's 400m final. Really glad we got to see two sessions of athletics. We can't believe we fit in 12 game sessions in 3 days! Loved the games, would have liked to have seen much more! Leaving tomorrow, need to be up at 4am for our flight to Romania via London. Bring on 4 hours sleep!
