Our day went like this: woke up at 6am, left Bourne by 7am. Drove to Hamilton (Scotland, very close to Glasgow) in roughly 5 hours. Jas dropped Bek at train station to wait with bags, Jas took rental car back then met Bek at station. Caught train to Glasgow, Jas picked up game tickets whilst Bek waited with a coffee, minding the bags. Walked and took subway to accommodation. Left one hour later to first event - rugby 7s which started at 5.15pm. Home at 11.30pm after buying some food. Great results tonight, the best teams placed. Particularly happy with gold - South Africa all the way! Tired beyond belief. More fun tomorrow though so need sleep - no time for a long sleep but hopefully a good sleep!
