We picked up my brother and his friend Marc from LAX on Monday, getting stopped by the LAPD. No illegal substances in our car though! We set off on Tuesday morning heading up the Pacific Coast Highway, through Malibu and the beautiful beaches to reach Santa Barbara. Had lunch at this really nice beach town. The rest of the road to San Luis Obispo was more inland and very reminiscent of farm land NZ. Once at San Luis Obispo we checked out this nice town visiting the old Spanish Mission, had some drinks and a great seafood dinner at a local seafood place.
