Well things have been settling down a little but also getting a little busy as well. As of this week the tests and projects are going to be piling on. So I'm probably going to be a little stressed.
But as well all know this week was thanksgiving, unfortunately for me, Thanksgiving is not a practiced holiday here, so no school off - but we did celebrate the thanksgiving holiday thanks to one of the girls here, she went around and for every who gave 500yen we would GET TURKEYS!!! So yeah, Thursday was spent studying for a vocabulary and grammar test and then after class cooking corn bread. We had a good spread of food, let's see, we had Turkey, friend chicken, salads, miso Soup, corn bread, other types of breads, corn, deviled eggs, stuffing, and some other foods, and the desert table was pretty stacked to, fruit pizza, pies, cookies, cakes, crapes. Yeah, you could say we have a good time.
I put up some of the pictures from my thanksgiving night for you to see, and also, per request, I got my bowl back so here's what it looks like! YAY!
Now, Saturday I'll be visiting my Host family and I'm going to take them some Devil eggs and a pumpkin pie. I don't know what they'll think but I'll definitely let you know. And this time I'm going to try and remember my camera so I can get pictures of them. They're super awesome!
Anyway, not much has been happening but I'll try and keep you all posted when I do.
Also, Happy thanksgiving and check out my video for the full Holiday wishes! <3
Love you always!
