Thankyou to those who have been so kind to post on my facebook and my message board! In reply to a few of your responses:
Otousan(Dad): I'll have you know I have been studying! While it has been decided that I will be in the beginner of beginner of language courses I have been working on my Hiragana and Katakana! (This is the Japanese alphabet) Learning the two sets of kana have been designated as my first homework. But I will be sure to get a shot the next time me and my firends get together to study, just so you can see!
As for why mom is screaming; perhaps she thinks that Cap Lock is the cruise control to cool. XD Much love always.
Erin-san: Thank you for reading and I'm glad you're enjoying the pictures. I hope everything is going well for you. I appreciate your support! If there's anything perhaps I can show you feel free to ask!
OKAASAN(MOM): I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU'RE TYPING IN ALL CAPS, I'M GLAD YOUR EXCITED REALLY I AM, BUT PLEASE CONTAIN YOURSELF! :) I'm keeping tabs of all the places to take you, but I'm thinking if you REALLY want to be able to spend as much time with me you should come during FEB I have the whole month off. Not joking. I suppose as your trip rolls around you will have to email me so we can accurately plan your trip! As always much love!
Minna-san(everyone), thankyou for reading. Lets see, Today was the last real day of orientation. We got information on classes and I'm thinking of trying to take Japanese Language and society, Japanese Business, The Toyota Way and a try to updated it, Japanese Pop Cultures through Media, The Japanese Tourism Industry, Mapping culture, Japan's Economic Power, and Japanese Culture and Art, I think total that's 16 creidit hours, but I'll probably drop two that I'm not in love with in favor for the language class I'll also be taking. So, I will indeed have a heavy load this semester. But I'm looking forward to it.
Aside from orientation I haven't done much else, admitedly I'm alittle scared of getting lost so I don't veture to far. Hopefully I'll find a few maps eventually in english that will be eaiser for me to understand. But in the furture there look to be many fun oppertunities to hang out with many locals in Aichi-ken (the prefecture Nagoya is in). I will keep you informed as I decide what things I'll be participating in!
Well I just wanted to post to say hey and let you know I'll be posting my pictures from Nogoya Castle! With Love!
Carolyn!
