This past week has been exciting and interesting as well as long and boring. I started classes on Wednesday (9/16). out of the four classes I've taken it looks like I won't be struggaling to stya awake in 2. The other two, the professors speak in really slow broken english so it's hard to stay awake or not to let your mind wonder. So Woo. I don't have any more classes until Thursday, already I have a break, it's kinda silly.

But friday I took a trip to Gokayama and Shirakawa-go which are World Heritage Sites- they are working villages were people still live in these large thatch roof houses. It was beautiful, the only problem was it took 3 hours to get there by buss and I think we spent MAYBE 2 hours between the two sites wondering around. It was interesting and fun, butI think that if I can SOMEHOW figure out how to get back there when family gets here I think it would be something everyone would enjoy seeing. Of course I don't know what the season will be when that happens so MAYBE we can see it in the snow. I bought some post cards and it's amazingly beautiful.

I'm planning to go back into Sakae today (9/19) for another try at this phone thing. When I get back I need to do laundry. Hum. Well When I have more I'll try and post. But It's just been a wonky week, and I think I'll probably do some exploring this week since I have a week off practically. WOO!
