Getting out of bed was very difficult today. I have to rest on my right hand while trying to keep both legs straight, mission impossible! My left knee throbs when i out pressure on it so it was even harder getting down the ladder/stairs. We went to the toilet then over the restaurant for a drink, it took me ages getting there. I had a carrot and apple juice, getting some attention because of my iodine stained bandages bound to my knees. A staff member said that daniel has to go with him to repair the bike so they went off while i lay on the chair writing my journal.
When they came back dan said it cost $20 which isn't so bad to be honest. We're in no state to do anything today as we physically can't. We only walked down to bondhi village for breakfast. I had a coconut to drink while having a morning j but then i came over all dizzy so lay on the floor for a while. I must have looked a state; girl laying on floor with bandages, i think it was just a whitey though. When i felt better, we ordered lunch, daniel got pancakes surprise surprise and i went for a garden salad with tuna mayo which was presented beautifully and tasted delicious.
After lunch, we went back to our guesthouse to rest up and chill out. Later in the evening we planned to walk next door to bondhi villa for dinner and snacks but as we walked out of our villa two dogs began barking at us from over the road which made me too scared. Plus i can't run if they were to chase us so we just went to the restaurant at our villa. I ordered an ice lemon tea and noodles with vegetables and dan got noodles with chicken. We wern't very full after the noodles so we ordered pancakes with nutella to share. The man who works here came to talk to us for abit, he's very friendly.
After dessert we walked back to our shack, banging my head on the many mangoes that hang from the mango tree by reception. We got in and rolled up. There were loads of dead flies on our bed which took a while to dust off the bed. We are staying downstairs tonight to save ourselves the long, painful walk up and down our ladder steps. We watched the machu pichu episode of an idiot abroad and fell asleep. I took the bandages off my hand and right leg to let the wound breathe a bit. It feels like there's a layer of something over them which i think is what the woman put on before the iodine. Like it cleaned the wounds and burned any dirt away.
