Yesterday I forgot to mention that they've repaired the flag on the front of the ship. It's a transfer and they obviously have loads of sheets of the stuff on board.
During our morning constitutional I mentioned I'd seen very little wildlife on this cruise. Rob immediately spotted some dolphins. Spooky. I'm going to ask for a whale tomorrow!
Nice weather today, but I spent most of my time in the cabin getting frustrated with the various programs I use for my website. I'm almost there and hope to be done by tomorrow morning.
I did have some breaks. I saw Nicki Chapman's second talk, played in BoS, lost at quoits, had a meeting in the Crow's Nest with Allie B. who's organising a trip in Puerto Montt and lost the tie break in the Individual Quiz.
Today was going to be an alcohol free day, but turned into a free alcohol one instead. The reason? Last night when I got back to my cabin, there was an invitation to the World Cruisers reception in Carmen's, black tie required, but no date. As the next formal night is tomorrow, we all assumed it would be then. This morning there was a letter delivered which gave the day as today and changed the dress code to smart, jacket required. It seemed churlish to turn down free booze.
The sun didn't set until about 21:20 tonight, and I guess the days will get longer, the further south we get.
