At about 3.30am we apparently entered the Sognefjord . The Sognefjord is the largest fjord in Norway, and the third longest in the world. The approach to Bergen is through the Fjord lands. The coast line is rugged but beautiful. On arrival in Bergen as soon as we are able we leave the ship and head for the Funicular which will take us to the top of Mount Floien. Another perfect morning. The ship does not dock until 10am but from 8 onwards we are saling into the Oslo Fjord. The scenery is beautiful and the sea is flat. There are apparently around 40 islands we will pass before we reach the dock. Some inhabited and some not.
