This morning we sail into Budapest. Mixed feelings today as this means that our cruise is coming to an end. The cruise has been awesome. Is way above my expectations and is certainly not just for the oldies. The other passengers often comment to us that they wish they had done something like this when they were our age as some of the walking is quite challenging. Having said that the cruise director and APT certainly make sure everyone can do as much as they want by providing special transport for those that can not walk too far and slow walking groups etc.
We can not fault anything. The crew, the food, everything is laid on and is exceptional. We have our favorite bar staff that know exactly what we like to drink. Our favorite waiters, Boris at breakfast who brings Liz her tea with extra hot water and knows what Glenn has for breakfast. And Lazslo for dinner , he does his best to save our favourite Table in the dining room each night. Our drinks waiter Tudor who has such charm wishes there were more people our age that did this trip because it makes it more fun. The cruise is fantastic, we come back to our room and Tsvetina has cleaned, made our bed and tidied everything perfectly and our washing is returned same day pressed and folded.
I want to take all of these people home- what a dream that would be!
Time for breakfast and then to the top deck to watch as we sail into Budapest.
