What an adventure we have had. Seen so much, walked many many miles. Talked to lots of people none of whom we will remember but at the time it was interesting. It's our first morning waking up on the ship. We are still docked in Amsterdam. Breakfast is the full buffet. Today we have a canal cruise which although we have walked around a lot of the areas today we have a guide, Rolf so he can explain what we are seeing. Big day today. Took the Hop on Hop Off bus. Did a full lap to get a look at everything, it was raining so we didn't get off until we got back to the beginning. Had lunch and looked around in the shops. Transfer was booked for 2.30 to take us to the ship. Our Mercedes Benz arrived and we left Liz and Milton to take the bus with btw rest of the boat people. Day 2 in Amsterdam involved walking and walking and walking. The best way to get around Amsterdam is to walk, ride a bike or by boat. Absolutely no way I would ride a bike with the amount of people around and we didn't have a boat so walk it is. It was raining but armed with a brollie we headed to the Anne Frank museum. The line was so long and it was pouring so we opted for coffee and Apple Pie instead. From here we headed to the heineken Brewery for a self guid...

Had a 2 hour stop in London. Enough time for a shower and freshen up, then onto Amsterdam. Arrived here at 6pm local time,so that is just under 24hours after leaving Melbourne. We were met at the airport by our driver and taken to the Convent Hotel. Very centrally located, well done Michelle!
