Arrived in Sydney on time at 7am. Easy flight, slept for more than half the time! That's the way to do it! Showered in the Qantas club and now waiting for our flight to Adelaide. While waiting for our flight we spoke to Sam, Holly, Mum, Jenna, Charlotte and Isabella. Holly met us at the arrivals and when we collected our luggage we got the biggest surprise, there was Sam! The kids decided this would be a great belated Mother's Day surprise. Speechless!

Our flight left on time and we arrived in Singapore, met our transfer driver and went a very long way to our hotel. The roads were closed due to an accident on the freeway so we had to take the back streets. Saw parts of Singapore you wouldn't normally see. We are only overnight here so we go for a stroll along Orchard Road, grab a coffee, check out the shops. For dinner we eat at one of the street cafes, a questionable choice but we survive.

Well, that was a pleasant flight. We all got a reasonable amount of sleep and we are through customs and on the road home. It's full speed ahead to get to the footy. Go Tigers!!!!! What a great welcome home present. North Gambier won three premierships. The under 17's set the scene followed by the Reserves making it 2 in a row for them and then the A grade topped it off with a ripper third quarter to bring home the trophy and go back to back as well. We are on the road shortly after 3pm. The boot is full, just a small pocket of space for our shopping! Liz suggested that we find a St Vinnies and donate our clothes before we come home so we have more room to bring new things back...mmm....definitely worth considering.
