Today was a rough day overall. We woke up to the sound of rain on our tent. Fortunately it was short lived. On the positive side it was 57 degrees which felt warm compared to previous mornings. Riding through Malibu was disappointing as the lack of a bike lane made it difficult to enjoy the views. Tòday was an easy 49 miles to Leo Carrillo Statw Park, just north of Malibu. Highlight of the day was stopping at the Mugu Missle park. The planes and missles were badly rusting but it was interesting to see the actual size of the Polaris and Harpoon missles among several others. The campgroung was nice and open but had hills on both sides which limited the daylight.
