Today started out with a trip to the Black mountain Cycle shop in Point Reyes. Laura needed a newcable and I needed a new inner tube. Weather was good and the ride was hilly in some places.

As we crossed the Golden Gate bridge we were hit by very strong winds that made it almost impossible to stay on the bike. Once across we made our way to the Hostelling International on the bay in San Fancisco. Due to covid they are only allowing one party at a time to use it so we benefitted by having this really large facility all to ourselves. It is complete with laundry, kitchen individual rooms with a view of the bay. Our room has a great view of Alcatraz. It is a real delight to sleep in a bed with hot showers and a view of the bay out our window. Tomorrow is our day off to explore San Francisco.
