Day 3

Today we slept in till 1pm - Ooops - forgot to set our alarms!

We went to the Wangfujing Shopping district in the hope of sorting out a sim car and hostel for the next day. We thought it was about 15 mins away but took about 1 hour! It was surprisingly similar to London in terms of the shops, however still a lot of building work. Most of the advertising geared towards the Olympics.

For lunch we found a cafe with and engligh menu - we gave in and had a 12" Pizza! Apparently this is quite rare in China. They dont eat much cheese. However on the way home we decided to try out some local food from small stall. We waited about 1/2 hour for these spring roll type things - but they were well worth it and made up for cheating at lunch.

Thats pretty much our day as we spent most of the morning asleep.
