Well today marks the first day of month 2 of the trip. After a slow start, the kids had a game of mini golf and then we headed into town to stock up for the next leg of the trip. What an exciting afternoon - we rode the camels on the beach!!! We patted the camels, they were like soft steele wool. It was a bit scary when we were on their backs and they stood up, it felt like we were falling off! The ride was very smooth with a relaxing sway from side to side. We were up very high. We could see a whale in the ocean while we were on the camel. The weather was beautiful and we all had an amazing time. Our camels names were Jarndah, Kad...

Today we started by playing cards and digging in the dirt. Later on we went for a drive to Cable Beach - we actually drove onto the beach! There were lots of cars and there was also lots of shells on the sand. We dipped our feet in the water, it was cold but not freezing. The water was the bluest I've ever seen. After that, we went to a light house at Gantheaume Point. At low tide you can see real dinosaur footprints in the rocks. We also saw lots of Humpba...

Another day, another change of location. Today we arrived at Broome after a 4 hour drive along a sealed highway - what a novelty! It is very hot here. When we arrived it was 33 degress! We set up and then went for a swim in the pool. It is 8:00pm now and it is still 22 degrees, we are loving it!
