Today we went into Sydney. We got up early and got the train in. It was underground and fast. When we got into Sydney we walked to the Opera House. It was made of three different sections (even though it looks like 1 in photots). It was made of tiles, there were only small and they were blue, grey and white. Another day of driving today. We did start the day with a bit of excitement though - Paddy lost his tooth! Nick also hurt his back packing up the tent, so our uneventful day, became slightly more eventful. The kids helped with the packing up of the tent and we managed to get back on the road. Today we headed further south towards Sydney. Most of the day we spent in the car, We stopped at Nambucca Heads and had lunch on the beach. Our next stop was at John's River for a quick beer at the pub and an ice-cream for the kids. The kids also enjoyed the nice green grass outside the pub for a good wrestle and roll around. We stopped at Croki, just off the highway, to settle in for the night.

We spent today looking around Iluka. We walked down to the riverfront and walked along the rockwalls (there are lots of them). The North Rockwall is the longest and seperates the ocean from the river. We stood on the wall and watched the waves come crashing into the wall and the beach. Today we left Queensland and headed into New South Wales. We stopped in at Byron Bay and had a look around and also visited Cape Byron which is the Eastern most point of Australia. We continued down the road to a small town called Iluka on the Clarence River. What a great little town.
