It poured rain last night - there are a few leaks in the tent but not too bad. We headed off to the National Museum of Australia this morning. We spent most of the day looking around at the story of Australia, from pre-historic times, to the land of the aboriginals, through the years of colonisation to the present day. We woke this morning to a frost - it was freezing in the tent last night! Today we spent the entire day at the National War Memorial. There was so much to see and learn about all of the wars that Australia has been involved in. At then end of the day we attended the last post ceremony.

Today we move onto our last stop for the trip. We headed down the road to Canberra. Stopped in at Goulburn for lunch and enjoyed seeing all the old houses (Goulburn was the first inland settlement in Australia).
